Employee SMS Notification Program
IronPulse SMS Program
This page documents the SMS notification program operated by Snyder Manufacturing for users of IronPulse, our internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). It is published to satisfy the public-disclosure requirements of A2P 10DLC carrier registration. The program is not open to the general public; only employees and approved contractors of Snyder Manufacturing or New Wave Manufacturing who have been issued an IronPulse account can enroll.
Who can enroll
IronPulse is a private, employee-only platform. Accounts are issued by an IronPulse administrator at the employee's employer. Eligible users are:
- Maintenance technicians, supervisors, and administrators of Snyder Manufacturing.
- Maintenance and operations personnel of New Wave Manufacturing (a sister site).
- Approved on-site vendors and contractors performing maintenance work for either company.
The general public, customers, and unauthenticated visitors cannot opt in to this program and will not receive messages. Visitors who scan a QR code to submit a maintenance request via the public work-request form are also not enrolled and receive no SMS.
How employees opt in
Consent is collected inside the authenticated IronPulse web application, through an explicit opt-in checkbox that is unchecked by default. The full flow:
- The employee signs in at ironpulse.snydernwgtexas.com with the credentials issued by their employer.
- They navigate to Profile (top-right user menu → “Profile”, route
/settings/profile). - They enter a mobile phone number in the Phone field. Helper text reads: “Required for SMS alerts. E.164 format, e.g. +15551234567.”
- They tick the checkbox labeled “SMS alerts”. Help text beneath the checkbox states: “Get a text for CRITICAL work orders assigned to you. Phone number required.” The checkbox is unchecked by default.
- An optional second checkbox, “Text me on every WO assignment”, can also be ticked for non-critical alerts. It is unchecked by default and is disabled until the primary “SMS alerts” box is checked.
- The employee sees the disclosures below the checkbox: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out, reply HELP for assistance.
- The employee clicks Save profile. Consent is recorded against their user record (database fields
smsOptInandsmsAllWorkOrders) along with a timestamp. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by unchecking the box and saving, or by replying STOP to any message.
Consent is collected only from the employee themselves on their own Profile page. Administrators have no UI to opt another employee in on their behalf — the SMS opt-in checkboxes do not appear in the admin create-user or edit-user dialogs, and the server endpoints for user create/update reject any attempt to set smsOptIn. This is the single point at which consent is captured.
Screenshots of the consent flow
Because the opt-in form is gated behind an employee login (the application is not public), the screenshots below show the actual UI an employee sees at each step of the flow described above.

All messages are transactional — they are sent in response to operational events on work orders. None are promotional or marketing. Every message is appended with “Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.” Sample messages produced by the live system:
- IronPulse: CRITICAL WO #1042 assigned to you — Pump P-204 bearing replacement. View: https://ironpulse.snydernwgtexas.com/wo/1042 Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
- IronPulse: Work order #1104 assigned to you — Weekly HVAC filter inspection, Building C. View: https://ironpulse.snydernwgtexas.com/wo/1104 Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
- IronPulse: CRITICAL unassigned WO #1099 — Assembly line 3 down, conveyor jam. Needs attention. https://ironpulse.snydernwgtexas.com/wo/1099 Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
Message frequency
Variable, based on work-order activity. The program is not scheduled and does not follow a cadence; a message is only sent when a work order is created, assigned, or re-assigned that matches an employee's opt-in level (CRITICAL-only by default, optionally all assignments). A typical employee receives between zero and ten messages per month, with up to five in a single day during an active maintenance incident.
Required disclosures
- Message frequency is variable.
- Message and data rates may apply, set by your mobile carrier.
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time.
- Reply HELP to any message to receive support information.
- Phone numbers and SMS opt-in status are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
